2023 Florida Black Expo - Political Corner

We are committed to remain focused on the established framework of the Florida Black Expo. The weekend of events will promote economic development and increase exposure for minority owned businesses. Major corporations along with government entities will share procurement standards and opportunities for business development. The Expo experience will highlight six pillars of economic growth and areas of sustainability: Entrepreneurship, Jobs, Wealth Creation, Health, Education and History/Culture. All pillars are critical to the economic growth of our community.

Political Engagement is critical to the advancement of businesses and community. The Florida Black Expo will use it's platform to display Political Candidates in a non-partisan manner. . Our Political Corner is an activation, not a designated area at the Expo, where candidates will have an opportunity to display their platform, candidacy information and more. 

The Political Corner will include:
 

• Straw Poll for all 2023 Local Races

• Political Forum on the main stage

• Speaking opportunity on the main stage (up to 5 minutes)

• Non-partisan Voter Registration

• Ability to distribute literature to all attendees. 

• Logo/Graphic ability to be presented on venue televisions.
